Team Recommendation:
Appeal to Family forest/NIPF owners by employing existing incentives and creating new incentives that draw them into organizing, management, and conservation, using Itasca County as a pilot study area to develop the incentives.

Please provide input before November 10, which is the date that this will be ciruclated to all project participants for their review.
The planning document captures much of the discussion. But, I am concerned that those reading the recommendation statement will think only in terms of financial incentives. Existing and new incentives should iclude programmatic incentives (e.g. agency policies, etc)
The action step "Develop a pilot project for Itasca County that aligns financial and programatic incentives to maximize FF/NIPF engagement," could well serve to be our Team's recommendation instead of the current statement.
The remaining action steps would still fit the new recommendation statement.
